We are pleased to announce the purchase of the assets of Globe Plumbing Supply in Oakland, California effective at the opening of business on April 18, 2016. We send warm greetings to our new team members, customers and vendors.

Globe Plumbing Supply Co. is a family business, founded in 1928 by James Taylor, Sr. and his wife, Alice. Following the second generation led by James Junior and Al Yeremian, Jim “the third” is the most recent in the family to head the Globe team. The Taylor family has served the Oakland/East Bay community by providing an extensive range of plumbing and heating supplies for almost 88 years. Standard Plumbing Supply will continue the legacy of Jim’s family and their business with the same exceptional service to Globe Plumbing’s customers as they have always received. We wish Jim and his family continued success.

Standard Plumbing Supply Company will pay for merchandise received on or after April 18, 2016 in the regular course of business. Globe Plumbing Supply will make payment on any inventory delivered prior to that date.
